I first established ‘Orwellx Design‘ at the end of 2007 after graduating with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art and Design at the University of Plymouth (Exeter) Devon, United Kingdom. This was largely in order to have somewhere I could show new work in progress and launch new prints of my illustrations and designs (of which many will be available to purchase in the online store). Essentially, the Blog acts as a document for ongoing creative projects.
In recent years I have established my own studio to enable me to have a sufficient working environment and a space to screen-print artwork and illustrate (Again, more information available through various Blog entries)
Personal artistic Influences are drawn from being raised on a background of comics, poster art and DIY orientated underground music, as well as an interest in the Far East. Over the years this has permeated my illustrative style, which falls somewhere between neo pointillism and classical illustration.
‘Orwellx Design‘ is interested in working with galleries, shops, writers, underground music and promoters.
